Today I’m rounding up my recent favorite Move With Linds workouts for you! I typically like to switch up my workouts daily, but I definitely have some workouts that are my go-tos. If you haven’t checked out my workout program yet, now is the perfect time to dive in during the new year! Check out sneak peeks of my favorite picks below & make sure to sign up for a membership!
Slimming Abs: One of my all-time favorites. This workout is only 12 minutes and you can get it done early in the morning, during a work break, or at night before bed!
Ballet Bar Sculpt: As a dancer, dance is always my favorite way to get in exercise. Putting it into a workout can even be challenging for me and I love it!
As a fitness lover myself, I’ve put together a small gift guide for those fitness lovers in your life. This is a list that could go on forever, but I rounded up my absolute must-haves that would make the perfect gift. See below to shop some of my favorites!
Massage Gun: You’re probably not stretching or recovering your body often enough.
Five the Label x Lindsay: Does your fitness lover have any pieces from my athletic wear collection?
Double Rollers: Another must-have recovery item for sore muscles.
Everywhere Belt Bag: Belt bags are my absolute favorite. Swing this over your shoulder and run out!
Bala Bangles: If your fitness lover enjoys working out at home, these weights are perfect!
Silicone Ring: Perfect for when you don’t want to wear your real jewelry to the gym.
On The Go Sweat Kit: When there’s no time to shower after a workout. This kit is a lifesaver.
Gym Bag: A bag to keep all belongings in when you’re headed to a workout.
My collection with Five The Label just launched, and I am so excited.
This started as a dream project, and I can’t believe that it is finally a reality. I could not be more proud to share this new activewear line with you! It was designed for women to celebrate their beauty and individuality in ALL that we do.
This project has been over a year in the making. I stood behind the line with the mentality that everyone deserves to feel confident and beautiful in their skin no matter what stage of life they are in.
I am SO happy that you all can finally shop!! I love the entire collection, but of course, I am biased towards loving some pieces more than others. I wanted to share my favorite pieces here with you.
Shop my favorite pieces below and the entire collection on fivethelabel.com.
I hope you love it as much as I do! The Autumn Drop went live on Friday 10.15. You can shop the entire collection on fivethelabel.com. And don’t worry, there’s so much more coming!!
You all have been blowing up my DM’s about my DWTS daily outfits, so I figured it would be best to put a blog post together of five of the top outfits I always have on rotation!
Monday: Monday is show day so I spend most of the day in my trailer getting all glammed up! It’s always an early morning so I love to wear comfy sweats and a shirt that fits easily over my head so I don’t mess up my hair or makeup. I recently got these sweatpants from Aritzia and this henley from Abercrombie and I’m obsessed! This will be my new Monday uniform.
Tuesday: I pretty much only wear matching sets and this one is one of my all-time favorites (top, bottom). It might even be the most requested from you guys! The fabric is butter soft and the print is so cute! I always layer this look with an oversized sweatshirt and then throw on my favorite APL bliss sneakers.
Wednesday: I’m really into the tonal vibes, so this little set from Five The Label is one of my favorites. I love the color of the biker shorts and the waist is SO flattering. I pair them with this top and it’s such a cute outfit – seriously you could throw on a blazer and go out in this look if you wanted to! Add this jean shacket and some cute sneakers and you’re ready to run some errands, hit the gym, or just lounge around!
Thursday:This might be one of my favorite Amazon sets of all time! The fabric is like butter and it’s SO FLATTERING. I’m not kidding. And the best part, it’s only $34.99. Don’t forget to add my favorite belt bag from Lululemon!
Friday: I love a good color block set and this one from Free People is one of my favorites. The color block leggings are really flattering and the bra is beyond comfortable. I would order this in every color they have! Free People also has the best selection of sneakers! I just ordered these to wear to rehearsals. I almost always bring this big tote with me! It fits everything and is really chic!
Let me know what other outfits you love and I’ll link them in my next blog post!
I’ve always loved athleisure, but especially after starting Move With Linds, I feel like I live in workout clothes. There are so many brands to choose from, it can feel a little overwhelming when you are looking for the perfect set. So I wanted to put together a roundup of brands that are both really great to work out in and really cute to hang around in- especially for summer!
If you know me, you know I am probably their #1 fan. I cannot get enough of the buttery soft Align collection and have yet to find a dupe that is a true match to the quality. I highly recommend the Align tank and Align short for summer workouts, they are definitely worth spending a little extra money on!
If you’re looking for a fun pop of color or print, this is definitely the brand to find it. The Tessa top is a favorite of mine because it’s so comfortable throughout an entire workout, and it’s great to mix and match with different bottoms!
I’m always on the lookout for a good ribbed workout set, and my favorite is from Year of Ours. The material is thick enough to keep everything feeling secure during a workout, and I love the wide elastic waistband of the Veronica legging.
I’ve been loving IVL lately. They are a sustainable athleisure brand, and their trademarked Hydrascuplt fabric is actually infused with collagen! I recently picked up these pink watercolor leggings and the matching power bra.
This brand is the most innovative in the dancewear space and also so versatile for working out too. If you are looking for really well-made yet non-traditional dance attire that doubles as athleisure, look no further. These airbrush biker shorts are a must-have!
Free People is a brand I’ve loved forever, but their movement line is one I keep going back to. I’m a big fan of their Good Karma Onesie– it’s so multifunctional and can serve so many purposes by adding or removing layers as needed (for dance, too!). They also donate a portion of their activewear proceeds to Girls Inc., making me even happier about buying workout clothes.
I’d only known Good American for their great denim, but I have bought a few pieces from their workout line and really like fit and quality. The active essential ribbed bra is a favorite of mine because it has a thicker band under the bust that provides great support and is really comfortable. This fabric also comes in leggings!
I always love sharing what I’m finding with you guys and trying new brands, too. Let me know if there are others you think I need to add to the list for summer workouts!
Before I film or do any Move With Linds workout, I ALWAYS do a warm-up. People often skip this step in their workout and jump right into their movements, but it’s extremely important to warm your muscles to prevent injury. I know most of us don’t have a lot of time, but warming up can actually help you perform better in your workout. When you warm-up, your blood temperature rises, increasing blood flow to your muscles. This looses up your joints and tendons and prepares them for intense movement.
Pre-workout: My go-to warmup actually starts in the kitchen. Before I do my workout, I use Vital Protein’s Pre-workout powder. I normally stay away from pre-workouts because they make me jittery, but this one doesn’t affect me. It contains collagen, which supports your muscles, and three types of nitric oxide producers that increase blood flow.
Muscle Gun & Foam Roll: After my pre-workout, I love to foam roll for a few minutes. I’m typically sore from my workout the day before, so this can relieve muscle tightness, reduce inflammation and increase your joint range of motion. If I don’t foam roll, I use my Theragun. This also works to activate your muscles and increase your range of motion. It feels sooooo good, especially after a tough workout.
Slow Movement: My last step in my warmup routine is a quick series. I like to get my heart rate up, so I run through these 4 movements 3 times for 30 seconds each. It’s quick, but it will get your heart rate pumping and blood flowing. After this, you’ll be ready to crush your workout!
My Favorite Move With Linds Workouts When I Only Have 15 Min To Spare
If you’ve been keeping up with Move With Linds workouts lately, you know one of my favorite parts of my new workout program is the selection of short workouts available! As a new mama, I know one of the most challenging things to find time for is movement. That’s why I designed a program that works for everyone, including new moms who are getting back on track with their fitness journey. I’m a big believer in short but sweet workouts that target different parts of the body using your own bodyweight!
So to inspire all of you (and myself!) to get moving this week, I decided to round up some of my favorite super short workouts that I choose for those moments that I need to squeeze something into my day! Whether it’s multitasking while taking a call WFH or finding 10 minutes to spare when baby Sage is napping, keep scrolling for my favorite Move With Linds workouts when I only have 15 minutes to spare!
#1 10 Min Standing Abs
I love a good standing series when I’m in the middle of making Sage’s bottle or even taking a call! It’s super easy, find a steady surface to hold for balance if needed, and get moving!
#2 10 Min Booty Burn
Booty burn workouts are my absolute fave for getting my heart rate up a bit! This might only be 10 minutes, but I promise you’ll really start to feel the burn with just your own bodyweight.
#3 5 Min Arm Sculpt
Sometimes all you have to spare are 5 minutes and if you’re ready for your arms to feel like jello, this 5 minute sculpt session is for you! You can definitely level up this workout with some hand weights, but definitely not necessary!
#4 12 Min Boxing Cardio
Sometimes to feel like you got a workout in, you really need to get your blood moving! This boxing cardio series is so fun and the perfect length to get something in between meetings.
Like most people, I’m obsessed with Amazon – especially Prime! Since Sage arrived and with the pandemic, we’ve been relying on it even more lately. My favorite part about Amazon is the variety of products they have, especially fashion! They have all my favorite brands and even some new ones I’ve been able to try. The quality of the clothing I find on Amazon is incredible. I basically lived in Amazon workout clothing during my pregnancy. I wore this tank top almost every day and would always get compliments on it.
My favorite categories to shop for are usually anything fitness or the wardrobe basics I can’t live without! I definitely over-ordered maternity clothing and didn’t get to wear most of it, but now I’m wearing all of my cute Amazon Fashion finds post-pregnancy because all I want to wear right now is loose loungewear. If you are pregnant and don’t want to spend a lot of money on maternity clothing, Amazon has so many cute bump-friendly dresses that you can continue wearing after you have your baby! Keep reading for all the Amazon shopping inspo you’ll need if you’re in the shopping mood 😍
