What I’m Wearing July 4th Weekend

4th of July Outfits

How is it already the 4th of July!! We’re halfway through 2021, and I’m freaking out how fast this year is already flying by. Mostly because Sage is already 8 months old!! I want my baby to stay little forever, but it’s also so fun watching her grow and learn new things daily. I’m so excited to celebrate the 4th with my family this weekend. We don’t have too much going on, just lots of family time, BBQs, swimming, and fireworks. I can’t wait to unplug and be present and make new memories with my family of three. If you are traveling or going somewhere fun or need some outfit inspiration for the weekend, I curated a 4th of July-themed outfit roundup below. All of these outfits are from Revolve who has THE BEST shipping. Make sure to order soon so you can wear your cute new looks this weekend.

Happy 4th 🙂

My Go-To Workout Looks

Workout Sets

I’ve always loved athleisure, but especially after starting Move With Linds, I feel like I live in workout clothes. There are so many brands to choose from, it can feel a little overwhelming when you are looking for the perfect set. So I wanted to put together a roundup of brands that are both really great to work out in and really cute to hang around in- especially for summer!

Lululemon

If you know me, you know I am probably their #1 fan. I cannot get enough of the buttery soft Align collection and have yet to find a dupe that is a true match to the quality. I highly recommend the Align tank and Align short for summer workouts, they are definitely worth spending a little extra money on!

Beach Riot

If you’re looking for a fun pop of color or print, this is definitely the brand to find it. The Tessa top is a favorite of mine because it’s so comfortable throughout an entire workout, and it’s great to mix and match with different bottoms!

Year of Ours

I’m always on the lookout for a good ribbed workout set, and my favorite is from Year of Ours. The material is thick enough to keep everything feeling secure during a workout, and I love the wide elastic waistband of the Veronica legging.

IVL Collective

I’ve been loving IVL lately. They are a sustainable athleisure brand, and their trademarked Hydrascuplt fabric is actually infused with collagen! I recently picked up these pink watercolor leggings and the matching power bra.

Five Dancewear

This brand is the most innovative in the dancewear space and also so versatile for working out too. If you are looking for really well-made yet non-traditional dance attire that doubles as athleisure, look no further. These airbrush biker shorts are a must-have!

Free People Movement

Free People is a brand I’ve loved forever, but their movement line is one I keep going back to. I’m a big fan of their Good Karma Onesie– it’s so multifunctional and can serve so many purposes by adding or removing layers as needed (for dance, too!). They also donate a portion of their activewear proceeds to Girls Inc., making me even happier about buying workout clothes.

Good American

I’d only known Good American for their great denim, but I have bought a few pieces from their workout line and really like fit and quality. The active essential ribbed bra is a favorite of mine because it has a thicker band under the bust that provides great support and is really comfortable. This fabric also comes in leggings!

I always love sharing what I’m finding with you guys and trying new brands, too. Let me know if there are others you think I need to add to the list for summer workouts!

What’s In My Cart For Spring

Ahhh, I feel like Spring is almost in the air. Yes, it did just snow the other day, but I’m mentally already in Spring mode. I just did a MAJOR Spring closet cleanout. If you haven’t cleaned out your closet, it’s so therapeutic. Not only do you feel really accomplished after, but you feel so much lighter. I am definitely a hoarder and hold on to things thinking I will wear them, but I told myself if I haven’t worn it in the last few months; it’s a toss (I donated my clothes!!). Another benefit to cleaning out your closet, more room for fresh items! I like to do a little shopping spree before each season. It’s nice to hit refresh on your wardrobe and add in some new pieces. Although we’re still all at home, my cart is filled with beautiful pastel dresses and warmer clothes for my imaginary vacation I’ll be taking. It’s been fun living in sweats this winter, but I’m ready to break free from my winter uniform and wear a dress – even if I’m just hanging at home with Sage.

Some of my favorite stores to shop for clothes are Shopbop, Nordstrom, and Revolve. You can find items at all different price ranges, and I love stalking their “what’s new” pages because they all have an amazing curation of items. Shop what’s currently in my cart for spring below!

What’s in Sage’s Closet

Sage's Closet

Ahh, Baby Girl is here and her closet is a dream. I had so much fun shopping for her during my pregnancy and curating her little closet. She seriously has a better wardrobe than me now!! Everyone tells you that newborns will be in and out of their clothing so fast and to wait until they are older to buy nice clothes, but I couldn’t help myself. And now that she’s here, I’m so happy she has options because we change outfits like seven times a day (no joke). I put together some of my favorite items she has in her closet below. There are so many cute baby brands out there, but some of my favorites are Quincy Mae, Rylee and Cru, Mebie Baby, and Lou Lou and Company. I can’t wait to see her in all of these cute items and take pictures!!

Outdoor Gear

Ok, let’s start with some of my favorite pieces in Sage’s closet! It gets really cold in Utah, so I wanted to make sure Sage had a few good jackets and snowsuits. One of the first things I purchased was this insanely adorable snowsuit from Patagonia. I also got her a few thicker onesies that would be comfortable for her to stay in when we’re out and about! I love all things with little ears on the hoods and this super-soft onesie is another one of my favorites in her closet.

Onesies

You can never have too many onesies. Sage lives in all of her onesies and we go through so many a day. I had so much fun picking out beautiful patterns with matching hats and headbands. One of my favorite and easiest outfits she wears is the knotted gown from Lou Lou and Company. It’s insanely adorable but also really easy to get her in and out of when I need to change her diaper.

Cute Shoes

Even though she doesn’t wear shoes often since we don’t go out much, I still had to make sure she had some stylish options to complete her looks. Some of my favorites are her hunter booties and ugg boots so her feet stay warm all winter long!

Accessories

I LOVE to accessorize Sage, and I think she likes it too. I’m a sucker for matching sets with a headband or hat to match. Just the other day I put her in a onesie with this little bunny hat with floppy ears from Meri Meri, and I couldn’t stop crying. Why are baby clothes so cute?!

If you missed it, we filmed a full youtube video of Sage’s closet, so go check it out and comment what you think of all of her cute clothes!!
