What I’ve Got My Eyes On This Fall

Even though it’s not as cool here in LA as I’m used to it being at home at this time of the year, I’ve got my eye on some fall items to get cozy this season. This time of year is my favorite, and I can’t wait to get back to cooler temps in Utah.

I’m all about pumpkins, chai lattes, shackets, booties, and all of the fall things, but fall fashion is definitely my favorite. There are so many new fashion trends popping up this year that I’m so excited to try. I’ve rounded up some items I’ve got my eyes on this fall season. So many fall trends were encapsulated in the Arnold Sisters x Bohme collection (duh!).

Some of my favorite places to shop for fall fashion are Nordstrom, Revolve, and ShopBop.

I’ve linked everything I have my eyes on for you below. Can’t wait to see these trends on you guys (and maybe we’ll match, too!).

Trader Joe’s Fall Hits + Misse

As soon as cooler weather hits, I crave food that’s associated with fall weather. My sisters recently tried a bunch of the Trader Joe’s fall items and reviewed them on YouTube check out Brynley and Jensen’s haul! I’ve also been seeing them all over TikTok, and so many of the items looked so yummy.

I went to Trader Joe’s to try some of the items myself and wanted to let you guys know what I thought! Some of the items are must-tries, but others were definitely misses.

My Favorite Items:

  1. Pumpkin Rolls: These were AMAZING. Put the icing on right away when you take them out of the oven and let it melt, and eat them while they are warm.
  2. Non-Dairy Pumpkin Oat Beverage: Oat milk with a twist. This is so delicious in your morning coffee or chai tea – an 8/10!
  3. Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese: A comfort food, with veggies built-in. This was so delicious and creamy.
  4. Pumpkin Spiced Teeny Tiny Pretzels: I could eat the entire bag in one sitting.
  5. Pumpkin Tortilla Chips: I was pleasantly surprised by these – loved these as much as Jens!

Misses:

  1. Fall Harvest Salsa: This salsa was okay but honestly didn’t taste very different from regular salsa.
  2. Petite Pumpkin Spice Cookies: These cookies are so cute – but I didn’t think they were anything special!

Add my favorites to your list and & try them out and let me know what you think!!

What I Purchased From H&M

If you know me, you know I don’t stray too far from Amazon Fashion, but lately, I’ve been loving clothing from Nasty Gal, Abercrombie, and most recently H&M. H&M, to my surprise, has so many incredible options at really great prices. I love how they merchandise their store – their online store is also super easy to navigate! Everything they put out is so cute, and I love how they team up with designers to collaborate. They did a Brock Collection collab this year, and the dresses looked like they belonged in Bridgerton, but they were only a fraction of what Brock Collection normally charges. H&M has a lot of wardrobe basics, too. Most of their basics are made from great quality fabrics so that they can last for a while. I just did a mini fall haul and added a lot of fall colors to my wardrobe. Shop everything I purchased from H&M below! This might be my new favorite store for my fall shopping.

Best Of The Free People Sale

Free People has become one of my favorite stores to shop from! The quality of their clothing is really incredible, especially their workout sets. They have an amazing sale going on right now that I shared in my stories last week, but I wanted to do a post so all the items can be found in one place. When looking for the links, I found a few more pieces on sale that are SO worth it, like this matching sweater set – so perfect for fall. With fall almost here, you might not be able to wear some of these summer items, but if there’s a classic dress you know you’ll wear next summer, then add it to your cart ASAP!! A little tip for shopping end-of-summer sales: try to spend money on classic items that won’t go out of style vs. trendy items that are most likely to go out of style by next summer.

Fall Fashion Must Haves

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but there’s only one more month of Summer. I also can’t believe I’m saying this because it’s currently 96 degrees in Utah, and I don’t see myself wearing sweaters any time soon. With that said, fall fashion is here, and all the designers are dropping so many new fall outfits and setting new trends. I thought it would be a good idea to round up the best of the fall fashion that’s currently out to start building out your fall wardrobes. I think fall is my favorite season to dress for because it’s still warm enough to wear a cute outfit and not have it covered up with a big puffer jacket. This season, all I’m seeing is fringe, mixed prints, and leather, and I’m so into it. Shop my fall picks below!

What’s In My Abercrombie Cart for Summer

Abercrombie Cart

You’ve likely seen me share about how excited I am about this, but- Abercrombie has made a comeback, guys! I love their stuff lately- the quality, the fit, the range of sizing, and the price point. I also love that there is a feature on their website that pairs the item you are looking at with other pieces to make a full outfit, so you can see how different things will look together. I’ve compiled a list of what’s in my cart for summer and categorized it all for you below.

Dresses

Abercrombie has such a wide variety of adorable summer dresses. I love their selection of linen dresses for a beach vacation or warmer day. I find myself ordering several of the same dress in different colors and prints because they are just THAT good.

Tops

What I love about Abercrombie tops is there is such a huge selection of versatile picks. There are a bunch of graphic tees that you can dress up or down and some really cute summer tops and bodysuits that are absolutely perfect for date night!

Bottoms

I have such a hard time finding bottoms that fit both lengthwise and in the waist without being altered, and my absolute favorite pair of jeans right now are from Abercrombie. They have great skirts and shorts for summer, too, that you can even mix and match with their matching set-tops!

Swim

So many of you message me every time I wear the swimsuit I got from Abercrombie, so I definitely have a few more in my cart for summer. I also love their swim cover-ups for beach and pool days.

Comfies

I couldn’t leave out my most favorite clothing item ever, athleisure! I’ve found some of the best stuff for working out and lounging around the house, and it’s really great quality, too.

Happy Shopping, everyone!

Sage’s Favorite Things: Summer Edition

Sage's Summer Favorites

One thing I know is that Sage is loving summer just as much as her momma! We have had so many fun pool days, spent evenings outside with family, and are soaking up all of the sun. It really is so sweet to see her discover the world and learn new things every day. I wanted to put together some of our summer favorites we are using and loving for Sage at the moment and share them with you below:

Life Jacket

Many people asked about this life jacket when I shared a photo of Sage at the pool, and we love it! I really like the extra head support and how comfortable she is in it. We’re also excited to try this float, too – she is a little fish!

Bubble Machine

Sage is so cute with this! She loves looking at the bubbles and trying to grab and pop them. I’m so glad we bought this. It makes so many bubbles, plays music, and lights up, definitely keeping her interest for a while.

Indoor/Outdoor Swing

This is such a fun little swing and surprisingly easy to assemble. It almost feels like a Sage-sized hammock, and it’s so cute. This is a great way to awaken some of that sensory system in a new way, and really adorable to see her take in the world while swinging away.

Rompers

These Lou Lou and Company rompers have been a summer game changer for us. They are easy to throw on and fit so well in a diaper bag, and I love how adorable the button detail is. My personal favorites are the Goldie and Poppy prints.

MINNIDIP Splash Pad

For the days we don’t venture to the pool, this splash pad is so adorable to cool off. You could also opt for their mini pool if you have an infant that may want to hang out in the water for a bit in the backyard. They have the cutest patterns!

Bathing Suit

Sage certainly has a collection of summer suits, but we love these from Ruffle Butts. They keep her skin well protected from the sun with the rashguard and have such cute patterns. Not to mention, could the ruffle detailing be any sweeter?

Peep Toe Sandals

These sandals are the absolute best. Piper Finn overall has the most amazing line of shoes, but when I saw the peep-toe, I melted! They have such classic colors, and their sizing system is really easy to follow when trying to fit shoes for your infant.

High Chair Toy “Leash”

I know this one is kind of funny, but with Sage being so active and us going more places now, I absolutely love this thing. We can loop in all of her favorite toys and suction them to her highchair, a table, or really anywhere we are, and she can play and keep herself occupied without all of her toys falling on the floor every five seconds. Game changer!

Hat

We wear this hat everywhere. It fits really well and has a nice wide brim to protect Sage’s face from the sun. I love the breathable material because it doesn’t feel flimsy and is very easy to clean.

Sunglasses

There are few things cuter than a baby in sunglasses, and I love this flower-shaped pair. They are super affordable and come in so many different colors for any summer outfit.

Interactive Books

We read this book every single day and know we’ll be using it for a while! The interactive element of hearing the sound is something Sage is already starting to figure out independently, and I cannot wait to continue watching her learn with this.

I can’t wait to see everyone having fun in the sun with their babies this summer! If you happen to try any of these, please share them with me, I’d love to see them!

5 Looks For Less From Amazon

Amazon Designer Dupes

Amazon is the perfect place for finding your favorite designer look-a-like items at a fraction of the cost! I’m all about investing in a good pair of heels or a nice bag, but sometimes I don’t want to spend a lot of money on something that may be out of style next season. That’s why I love searching on Amazon for those trendy designer pieces, like the Bottega Veneta bag or Celine Sunglasses, and buying them from there. Of course, not all of Amazon’s dupes are good, but some of them look exactly like the designer item and are excellent quality. I rounded up my 5 favorite designer dupes below that I’ve ordered and love!

My Amazon Prime Day Picks

Amazon Prime Day

Amazon Prime day is like its own mini holiday and it’s finally here! Over the next two days, Amazon has some amazing deals on electronics, fashion, home, and more. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite picks from the sale so far for you guys and included a few pro shopping tips below:

  1. Turn on notifications. The day-of deals and flash sales are usually the best and those items go really fast so if you are in the market for something specific, turn on personalized notifications.
  2. Use Alexa. If you have Amazon Alexa, you can ask her “Alexa, where are my deals?” and unlock offers early. You can also say “Alexa, shop small business.” during the sale and save $10 during Prime Day when shopping small.
  3. Check out Lightning Deals First. These won’t last long, so make sure to scan these periodically throughout the day if you are looking for a certain item.
