Five The Label Favorites

Affordable Fashion Finds

Fashion doesn’t always have to break the bank! In all honesty, I hate spending a lot of money on one single thing. Especially with buying clothes, everything is trend-based, so I never want to invest in an item that will go out of style in a few months. At the same time, I still like to find quality pieces – just at affordable prices! You all know how much I love Amazon. I get half of my wardrobe from there! The fashion is always on point, and I’ve really lucked out with buying quality items. I also love stores like Missguided and Nasty Gal. They have so many trendy items, and the clothes last a long time. You really don’t have to spend a lot of money to get the same look – it’s all about finding the right store to shop at. I rounded up a few of my favorite affordable items from some of the best stores below!

Amazon Fashion Swimsuit Haul

Amazon Swimsuit Haul

Summer is basically here, and I’m refreshing all of my bathing suits! Every season I love buying a few new swimsuits to add to my collection. This year, I discovered so many cute ones from Amazon, from one-pieces with cutouts to bikini sets with a matching sarong. Amazon is the place to get all your new summer swimwear this season, and it won’t break the bank. Sometimes it can be a hit or miss, so I rounded up all of the favorites I ordered this year.

My Latest Amazon Fashion Haul

Amazon Fashion Haul

As you’ve probably seen on my Instagram stories, I did another Amazon haul recently and wanted to share everything I bought with you guys. There are some really cute, reasonably priced finds for spring and summer for days, nights, and everything in between!

Gingham Dress

I love the high neckline and flowiness of this dress. I feel like it’s something that would be super flattering on all body types, and I love the variety of colors and patterns.

Corduroy Button Down

This is such a versatile top. You can dress it up or dress it down, and I love that it looks like a nice, thick material while still feeling lightweight.

Floral Top

I wasn’t sure how this top would look in person, but I’m so glad I ordered it. It looks really cute tucked into a pair of high-waisted jeans, and I love the sleeve detail.

Rib-Knit Crop

I honestly may need to order this in every color. It is the perfect top to wear with comfy pants or shorts around the house during the summer and can be totally dressed up a bit with a flowy skirt or jacket for a date night.

Floral Mini Dress

I love the ruffle detailing and floral print of this dress; it reminds me of an evening at the beach. Make sure to look at the sizing chart before ordering, though, and use your measurements!

Boho Wrap Dress

I realize I definitely got quite a few dresses in this haul, but I love this one too! The wrap dress cinches the waist, and the length is perfect. I also saw that the model threw a sweater over it, and it made for the cutest skirt, too. Dual-purpose!

Linen Shorts

I wanted comfortable linen shorts for summer and gave these a try. The length was great, and they fit well, no complaints so far!

Basic Tee

I stocked up on some basic tees for summer, too, and these are my favorite! I love the length, and you can never go wrong with classic Hanes.

Running Shorts

I saw so many people raving about these shorts being a dupe for the Lululemon running shorts I love, so I had to give them a try. I haven’t worn them yet, but stay tuned!

I know I always love seeing what people are buying from Amazon, so I hope you enjoyed seeing what’s been in my cart. I’ll definitely keep everyone posted on how these items wear and last!

Amazon Basics You Need In Your Closet

amazon basics

It’s starting to warm up here in Utah (which I am SO excited about!), and with the change in weather, I’m always inspired to do a little spring closet cleanout. I usually take inventory of what I have in my wardrobe from seasons past and see what other basics I can add to my collection. Amazon makes it way too easy to find cute, reasonably priced pieces that somehow keep magically showing up at your doorstep two days later.

I’ve been looking forward to stocking up on basics that are equal parts, comfortable and stylish, and these Amazon dresses are the perfect day to evening transition pieces. Spend a day running errands in one of these cute ribbed or maxi dresses, throw on a cardigan, and you’re ready for a night out! I’m also so excited to grab this jumpsuit– perfect for a day around the house with Sage or a family outing to the park.

You guys know I am all about a good workout set, and I’ve found such great basic sets on Amazon in the most fun spring colors. The ribbed material is super soft and comfortable, and I love how breathable and durable the fabric is throughout a workout.

Amazon also has some really perfect date night basics for spring and summer, like this flowy dress with a sweetheart neckline and this cute shift dress that comes in color to match any occasion. You also cannot get more basic than a good pair of Levis and a plain white tee- a definite staple for me because I can mix and match all types of accessories to create multiple looks. If I want to dress up the jeans a bit, I’ll swap out the basic tee for a bodysuit or a knitted tank top.

Arguably the most important basics of all (especially this year) are comfys! This loungewear set is the coziest thing ever and comes in so many different styles and colors. Throw in a pair of fuzzy slippers, and you are ready for the ultimate movie night in!

If you know me, you know my Amazon cart is always full, and adding fun things to refresh my wardrobe basics is no exception. I hope you love these as much as I do! Happy shopping!

What I’m Packing For Florida

We are heading to the sunshine state for a much-needed family vacation! I’m so excited and grateful to be able to get away with my entire family for a few days (we are getting tested before we travel, and once we get home – don’t worry)! It’s been cold and gray in Utah, so I can’t wait to break out some summer clothes and, of course, dress Sagey for summer. I did a little bit of shopping for our trip and wanted to share all of the fun summer outfits, accessories, and beauty products we packed for Sage and me. I packed pretty light for this trip and tried to plan out all of our outfits, so we didn’t over-pack. What always helps me when packing for a trip, especially now that I have a baby, is laying each outfit out with both of our accessories and taking a quick photo so I know exactly what I’m wearing when I get there. I also love to pack in cubes, it’s a LIFESAVER. It keeps everything organized and neat and makes it easier to fit more things in your suitcase. I packed a few Mommy & Me looks from my favorite store, Ivy City, as well as all of our go-to vacation beauty products, including Supergoop Baby Sunscreen, after-sun face masks, and more.

I shared more about some of our must-have items when traveling with a baby in this blog post, so if you’re looking for the best travel stroller, diaper bag, or baby carrier, read more here!

What’s In My Cart For Spring

Ahhh, I feel like Spring is almost in the air. Yes, it did just snow the other day, but I’m mentally already in Spring mode. I just did a MAJOR Spring closet cleanout. If you haven’t cleaned out your closet, it’s so therapeutic. Not only do you feel really accomplished after, but you feel so much lighter. I am definitely a hoarder and hold on to things thinking I will wear them, but I told myself if I haven’t worn it in the last few months; it’s a toss (I donated my clothes!!). Another benefit to cleaning out your closet, more room for fresh items! I like to do a little shopping spree before each season. It’s nice to hit refresh on your wardrobe and add in some new pieces. Although we’re still all at home, my cart is filled with beautiful pastel dresses and warmer clothes for my imaginary vacation I’ll be taking. It’s been fun living in sweats this winter, but I’m ready to break free from my winter uniform and wear a dress – even if I’m just hanging at home with Sage.

Some of my favorite stores to shop for clothes are Shopbop, Nordstrom, and Revolve. You can find items at all different price ranges, and I love stalking their “what’s new” pages because they all have an amazing curation of items. Shop what’s currently in my cart for spring below!

3 Winter Layers I’m Wearing Daily

Now that we’re officially in the deep winter months here in Utah, I had to do a roundup of the absolute essential winter layers I wear when we leave the house now! When temperatures hit those single digits, you really learn how crucial it is to layer up, so you stay warm no matter how cold it gets! There’s no worse feeling than being freezing all the time, and you can appreciate the winter and how gorgeous it is when you can feel your feet and stay warm.

So, if you’re living somewhere in the country where the winter months require more than one layer, this post is for you! Keep scrolling for the 3 winter layers I’m wearing daily and honestly can’t live without during a chilly Utah winter!

#1 Hiking Socks

There’s nothing better than a cozy warm sock keeping your feet warm! I usually opt for hiking socks or waffle knit, so I know they’ll keep my feet super warm. Another great option I’ve discovered if you live in the cold is toe warmers! They’ll become your best friend if your toes get cold!

#2 Fleece Sweaters & Vests

Fleece sweaters are a staple in the northern states for a reason! I love layering up underneath my winter coat and adding a cozy fleece or vest to keep my whole body warm. There are plenty of options for sweaters and vests in all price ranges and depending on how warm you want to be!

#3 Cozy Scarves

This has always been one of my favorite accessories to give people as gifts! Nothing cozier than a good cashmere or knitted scarf. They’re a staple layer when the temperature really starts to plummet and can look so chic when styled correctly! I’m usually a fan of the chunkier scarves I can also use as a wrap after taking off my coat!

Winter Boots: 3 Styles I Can’t Live Without

Winter is here in Utah, and the bitter cold means you can’t be caught dead outside without a good warm boot! Every girl has that one category they can’t get enough of, and mine is shoes. Although I love a good assortment, there are definitely a few styles of boots that I always keep coming back to. It can be hard to find cute winter boots that don’t cost a fortune and will last you a few seasons. I find that I will spend a little more on a good winter boot because I know I will wear it for the next few years, plus you really don’t want to be stuck in the cold with boots that can’t hold up!

Winter boots can either be really cute or extremely tacky and heavy. Heavy boots that feel like I’m picking up 10 pounds every time I walk do not work for me! I rounded up a few of my favorite and most timeless styles in my wardrobe that truly match everything. And, they are Utah weather approved!! Keep scrolling for the 3 winter boot styles I could never live without!

2. Combat Boot

3. Winter Boot
